Conveyancing

The firm has a strong base in conveyancing and has been handling the bulk of its business in general conveyancing, banking, banking and project developments including housing and commercial developments since the firm's incorporation in 1990.

Litigation

We specialize in Civil Litigation. Litigation matters being handled by the firm are for contractual disputes, especially disputes on building contracts, banking and commercial agreements. We also act for both the claimants and/or the debtors or guarantors in debt recovery matters, inter-alia for services rendered, goods sold and delivered. Other matters include personal injury and property damage claims, divorce and insolvency.

Moi, N.K. Koh & Chee

Moi, N.K. Koh & Chee was incorporated as a partnership on 1st July 1990 with the blessing of the Bar Council Malaysia. The founding partners of the firm were Mr. Moi Teik Seng, Mr. Koh Nai Kwong (now Datuk) and Mr. Chee Ho Chun. However, a major restructuring took place in the firm in mid-1997, whereby Mr. Chee Ho Chun became the sole partner of the firm. From mid-1997 to 31st May 2011, Mr. Chee Ho Chun was the Managing Partner of the firm, until his retirement from legal practice on 1st June 2011. On 16th December 2010, Ms. Lee Pei Wan was admitted as a partner of the firm. On 1st April 2011, Mr. Yoong How Vey was admitted as a partner of the firm. Therefore since 1st June 2011, there were 2 principal partners of the firm, namely Mr. Yoong How Vey and Ms. Lee Pei Wan. On 1st January 2012, Ms. Natassja Tay Ling Wah was admitted as a partner of the firm.

Yoong How Vey

Partner

Mr Yoong became a partner of Messrs Moi, N.K.Koh & Chee on 1st April 2011. He has vast experience in both civil and banking litigation and was exposed to many different types of disputes in his career as a litigator.

Lee Pei Wan

Partner

Ms Lee was admitted as a partner of Messrs Moi, N.K.Koh & Chee on 16th December 2010. She is now Head of the Conveyancing department of the firm and she handles business banking, corporate and commercial loans too.

Natassja Tay Ling Wah

Partner

Ms Natassja joined the firm on 1st January 2012. She is handling many of the firm's conveyancing transactions particularly in commercial projects as well as other real estate matters, sale and purchase of properties and conveyancing retail banking.

Kuen Hui Ping

Legal Assistant

Ms. Kuen Hui Ping graduated from the Multimedia University with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) in July, 2017. Ms. Kuen joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in September 2018 and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor on 2nd August, 2018.
